ME

Don’t just pass by, treat me better,

Pay attention world, I am here,

Sad, depressed, in pain though,

Alive, unabashed, without fear,

I am the sea, a leaf, a rock,

Soft with emotions, rigid, tough,

I am the sun, the heat, the warmth,

I am the fire, come put me off,

I am an equal to all that’s on earth,

I am a humble slave of my Lord,

The vices are mine, but I am good too,

I am the best creation of  my God,

Laugh or criticize, I shall speak,

I am a fancy, be blind or see,

Love me, hate me or simply avoid,

I am not anyone, I am me.
