You should have turned around,

And run to me with love,

You should have told me,

That you think your love I deserve,

I would have embraced you as life,

Would have loved you like I did,

Given you joy from all ends of earth,

Would have drank your pain like I did,

Would have kissed you deep,

And said few words most comforting,

Would have fought the world entire,

For you my love, for your good,

If only you had let go off your ego,

I could have been your hero.
